Hi there. Are you having a good week? I’m enjoying the sun that is upon southern Ontario–something we haven’t seen much throughout the summer.
Today’s card uses Stained Embossing. I say any technique that uses our embossing machine is a “rockin’” technique. This technique is from the June issue of the Technique Junkie Newsletter.
Rockn’ this week’s technique is my cute little image from our sponsor, Impression Obsession. I have a girlfriend who owns a huge tiki hut with an in-ground pool so I bought this stamp with her in mind. My girlfriend helped drive to the Detroit airport to pick up my mom for my daughter’s wedding (I live in Canada, just about 90 minutes from the airport) so I gave her this card as a thank you. She tells me she has a photo album full of my cards and will add this one to her collection. I’m so humbled.
You may be curious as to how I cut my card. I used my new Spellbinders A2 Curved Borders One set. It left a neat little spot for my Stampn Up sentiment. My image was coloured with Prismacolor pencil crayons and OMS.
I hope you’re having good weather where you are. Thank you for stopping by!
