Praying for You

Layered Die Cuts 10, finished card, SU and Hero Arts, Twisted Papers, Resized

Here we are folks, just days away from Christmas.  Are you ready?  This morning I iced my sugar cookies so all my baking is done, presents are bought and wrapped, and now I just have to wait for the big days ahead of me.  Even tackled the grocery store this afternoon and managed to keep my cool–LOL.

Christmas dinner will be on Christmas Eve, and family will be joining us.  I work on Christmas Day and Boxing Day this year, but it won’t stop me from visiting with my children on those days.  This year I am blessed with spending lots of time with them.

As I type this, Al surprised me with my first Christmas present of the year–he ordered me a battery for my laptop moments ago.  What a sweetie!

I, just this minute, finished a job that I hate with a passion dislike.  Approximately 20 card fronts are now turned into cards with a front and back to them.  I’d love to hear from you regarding this chore aspect to card-making.  How many of you create a whole card immediately, or are you like me and just make card fronts?  The next step that I have to do is stamp my “made by Beth” on the backs but that will be another day.  One can only take so much stress in one day. LOL.

In case you wondering about my card, this darling image is from Twisted Papers.  The sentiment is from Stampin’ Up! and the writing on my flower is Hero Arts.

Have a Merry Christmas and happy Holiday Season!

Here I thought I was the only one with that quirk !!
I have lots of card fronts and when it comes to putting them together I am always stumped as to what background colors, etc. to use.
Very pretty card, Beth, and I love the layers.
Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Hi Beth, I love your card, I’ve never thought about using layers in all different papers but it looks great and I LOVE the image and Labels 4 too.

I usually create the layering and attach it to the card and and then rest on my laurels, but the next bit of stamping your name on the back, stamping on the insert and attaching it inside the card and writing on the envelope seems to take longer that the creative part. 🙂 I especially find that a challenge at Christmas when I have made SOOO many cards.
Wishing you and your family all the very best for Christmas and the New Year, great that despite going to work, you will be able to spend lots of time with them. I am also going to see all of my family, my shopping for food and gifts is done and my studio is all tidied after the bomb hit it. By the way, we are going to have a heatwave Christmas Day Downunder. God Bless oxox

Wonderful card here today again Beth, and wonderful to hear, that you´re already sooo ready for the big day, wish I could say that too.
I must admit, I really don´t think I even could make sooo many one thing at a time, so I´m one of those, who always finish the entire card before I get on tothe next, and probably why I just can´t make 10 completely alike, cause I would be sooo bored, that I would fall asleep then, so all my cards are always finished one at a time and made individual, so I honestly don´t think, I´ve ever made 2 quite the same, even I´ve tryed to make the exact same for a bunch, but they ain´t anyway.
Have a wonderful time here for the holida and enjoy every day with your family, even you also have to work a coupls of the days. I know that feeling too well from many years.
Have a wonderful Christmas dear friend and a Happy New Year too.

Such a beautiful and unique card Beth. Love the layers of the frames.
I’ve never thought of mass producing my Christmas cards. I might give it a try for next years cards! At the moment, I make each card in it’s entirety and then leave it for about 6 weeks ‘coz I hate doing the inserts!

Beth, LOLOL, I wondered if anybody else did that. I was doing that when I did the IO blog. Your card is lovely and I really like how you layered your die BGs for your image and the colors are lovely too! Have a wonderful Merry Christmas and a great New Year too, if I don’t see you before then. 🙂 Hugs
