Shaped Stencils

Shaped Stencils, IBFS resized

Hi folks!  The weather is still cool, wet and rainy, so it’s a good time to stay indoors and get creative.  Or at least I’m trying to convince myself to find my creativity again.  I finally broke down and bought a gelli plate and had two of my girlfriends in and we all played with our gelli plates.  I discovered working with glaze paints gives the best results so I’m on the hunt for some.

This card was published in the April issue of the Technique Junkie Newsletter and is called Shaped Stencils.  As you know, stencils are all the rage so I was thrilled when I could put my stencils to use.  My stamps are from I Brake for Stamps, and the paper ribbon is a die from My Favorite Things.

Have a great day, and thank you for taking the time to stop by!

Wow, what a great idea to use the stencil on the die cut BG! Your whole card is lovely. Thanks for the hint on the Gelli plates. I have two and have never used them!
