Halifax Citadel

Tutorial Tuesday will resume next Tuesday.
Anyone who has visited Halifax, Nova Scotia, will recognize one of my favourite Canadian landmarks–the Halifax Citadel town clock. This is one of the very first stamp designs I drew. I love this landmark so much, I did a cross-stitch of it 15 years ago.

Jun 23, 2009 - 09:06:20OH HA…this is so gorgeous! Just pretty colors! I love the way you colored it!
Love the way you outlined it in blue & used gray to shade it! I’ve never seen it in person, but from the way you’ve shown it here, I’d like to!
I really like the colors that you chose to use with this great image.
I haven’t been to Halifax but we did take the Cat over from Bangor to Nova Scotia for a
wonderful day trip. That area has always intrigued me. It didn’t disappoint me in person either.

It is very pretty! You are a wonderful artist! Our Iowa small towns used to always have a town square bustling with activity and little shops and there was generally a clock, often at the courthouse right in the middle. Now, the little shops have mostly closed. Small towns have changed so much. Hate to see the mom and pop shops go!
Beautiful! And you drew this! Wow and congrats on having it made into a stamp! Your card is perfect and Iove the blue halo surrounding the image!
Wow Beth what an awesome stamp love the card great colors and paper to go with this stamp, sure have missed you GF
