Elegant Peony

It’s my first day of two weeks holiday, and I buried myself in the studio all day. This card was made for Splitcoast Stampers Colour Challenge: Basic Black, Kiwi Kiss and Elegant Eggplant. Having run out of Kiwi Kiss, I substituted with Old Olive.
The peony flower was stamped out four times onto watercolour paper, turned over and then watercoloured with Tombow and Stampin’ Up markers. The decorative rectangle is from SU, and the decorative corners are CB. Ribbon is from Michaels.
I attended a scrapbook workshop last night over at Stephanie’s house. Haven’t scrapbooked in over a year and it was so much fun to get back into it, and meeting stampers and scrapbookers in the area.
Thank you for stopping by. Have a great day!

Love your card, Beth! Beautiful job on the layout, and gosh, your coloring is divine!!! I had fun with the ‘shaped card’ this week – it’s fun to work outside the box now and then! Thanks for the fun challenge!
