Stringing You Along

A while ago I submitted the idea to Pat and shot the Stringing You Along technique for the Technique Junkie Newsletter. This technique really pops with my Tim Holtz stamp. It almost looks like tie-die, eh?! My yummy background is the Faux Designer Paper technique, also from the Technique Junkie Newsletter. Lots of hand stitching was added around the edges and on the buttons.
Do you favour flowers or buttons on your cards?
Tim Holtz stamp comes from Croppinsville.

I LOVE this! The colors are just fabulous! I like buttons and flowers, although when I mail cards with buttons it usually ends up costing extra postage because of the bulk. But I fo love the look!

OMG GF- this is amazing! I love the tie-dyed look! So COOL! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the stitching what a fabulous job you did!
Hi Beth,
Love the card so beautiful!! I am a flower nut I must admit, don’t use buttons much but need to step out of my comfort zone and use butons more often
Wow, wow, wow!!! Wow! This I love! Amazing, Beth – simply wonderful! Which issue is that technique in? I thought I had read them all cover to cover, but don’t recall seeing this. It’s a ‘must try’! I am a button addict. It’s funny – I don’t use as many as I’d like because I think other folks like the flowers better, but I have hundreds upon hundreds of buttons. Many are 50+ years old! Great job, my friend! Oh…by the way – read Last Song, by Nicholas Sparks.
Lovely card. Love the effect on the stamp too.
Hugs,
Smita

LOVE YOUR STITCHING ON THE CARD AS WELL AS THE BACKGROUND PAPER. I REALLY ENJOY FLOWERS AS THEY ARRIVE AS BEAUTIFUL AS WHEN THEY LEFT MY HOUSE.
