How to use your Cricut to Create Flowers and Post It Note Holder
Everyone is looking for Cricut ideas now a days, so I thought I would show you what you can do with your Cricut. If you don’t have a Cricut, you can use punches to decorate your card and post-it note holder. A post-it note holder tutorial is photographed for you as well. You can find directions for the easel card on Splitcoast Stampers.
For purposes of my tutorial, I used the George cartridge. This catridge is popular as it came with most Cricut machines.
Place your paper into the Cricut. Cut out two shapes of flowers (or more if your cartridge has it) approximately 4 times each. Then cut out the shadow of those flowers.
For the post-it note holder, cut cardstock 7 1/2″ x 3 1/3″
Score at 3 1/2″ and 4″
Fold along the score lines to obtain your shape
Add layers of cardstock on the top of your post-it note holder
Decorate the top of your post-it note holder with a variety of shapes and sizes of your flowers.
Using double-sided tape, or another good bondable tape, place tape around the edges on the back of the post-it note holder and insert into your scored post-it note holder above.
This is how your post-it note holder should look.

Jun 22, 2010 - 08:06:17What a fun project! I don’t have any of the electronic toys, but these flowers make me tempted to get one! AND GIRL, would you just look at those fabulous nails!!! YOU ROCK! My poor short nails are hiding in shame
Hugs, dear friend – have a great night!
I refuse to buy one more toy, but that is a cool project! Love it! Great tutorial!
