How to Make an Eye Catching Colour-Coordinated Card
Do you find yourself saying, “gee, that card looks really nice” and can’t figure out what makes it pop? There are many ways to make your card pop, but today I will show you how to coordinate your colours with designer paper (DP).
Stamp out your image.
Stamp out your image onto designer paper this time. If you use a very dark colour, stamp on the backside of the DP. This will work for small areas and not large areas as your image will be backwards when cut out.
Coordinate your pencil crayons/Copic markers with the paper you are using. Paper pads are great; their papers coordinate well, lending itself to coordinate quickly and easily. This pad of BasicGrey is available in my store.
Once the image is coloured, use a Micron pen to darken black areas.
Matt image with the darkest shade in your card. In this card, the darkest colour comes from the designer paper that was used.
Put your card together to finish it.
