Acrylic Emboss
Acrylic Emboss is another new technique from the August edition of the Technique Junkie Newsletter. It really gives a nice shabby chic background–perfect for my Tim Holtz stamp purchased from Croppinsville.
Did you pick up that I’m enjoying buying stamps on the internet now? It’s quite an addiction, eh, isn’t it?! I have to watch those “ehs”–I’m Canadian and use it alllllll the time.

Beautiful! Love your colours and the results of your technique are amazing! Have fun buying online…and between you and I…they will never know about the “eh” thing on line. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it typed before LOL!
That is an incredible card!!! I love everything about it…the color, the composition, the choice of stamps!!! But, GF, watch out… ordering on line can leave ya broke very quickly!!! For me, the worst is ebay, I wait til the very end of an auction and when I bid and am outbid, I say well I will just go a little higher, a little more… I have had to have a top price above which I will not go… but that just doesn’t always work!!! Have fun. Be sure and let me know of any great deals out there!!
You know, Beth, it’s so funny… I am doing a TJ swap, and the first technique I attempted was this one. I did four card fronts, smeared that paint with all sorts of different items. I hated them, and went on to do another techniqe for my swap cards. THEN, I decided to go ahead and try step two….WOWZERS! Doing the embossing, just brought them to life! What a great technique! I will now use it often! Beautiful card, and love your new TH stuff!!! Hugs!
