Sunset Swirls
Hi stampers. Welcome to my weekly tutorial where today I will showcase brayer work and masking. It is lots of fun, so let’s get started.
Supplies: ink, swirl stamp, sponge, stamp, Post-it Notes
More ink
Punch a hole in the Post-it Note. Be sure to punch it down low so that the sticky part will stick nicely. Sponge on your sun colour.
Create a mask with a Post-it Note by hole punching near the top so the sticky will stick nicely over the sun. Brayer on the colour of your sky as shown here.
Sponge a darker colour of blue around the upper corners and along the top.
Create a background by using colours that coordinate in both the foreground and background.
Stamp swirls on the background.
Using a scrap from the brayer work, stamp a sentiment onto the background and adhere to your image.
I hope you enjoyed this weekly installment. If you have any tutorial requests, please let me know.
Hugs,
Beth

Another great tutorial Beth!! That flourish stamp is awesome (and I LOVE)how you used it. Can you let me know whose it is??? Thanks again for clear concise directions!
This is just awesome Beth. I love this card. I really have to get a go and try this brayerwork, as it looks absolutely stunning. But I admit, I haven´t dared yet, but I also miss some tools to do it, so I guess, it´ll have to wait a littl more, but I will sometime soon, that´s for sure. IIt´s so gorgeous. Thanks for another great tutorial hun., and have a great day.
big warm hugs Maryann
super! TFS!
Beautiful. I would like to try that and may this weekend.
Great sample. Could you provide more tutorials like this that don’t require the use of a cricut or die cutting machine, which I don’t own? Thanks Beth.
