Blue Jeans for his Birthday

Good morning friends and fellow stampers.  Today I am sharing two cards I made for a man’s birthday.  Doesn’t this Blue Jeans stamp look like real jeans?

I added Cheers which came from Simple Sentiments 2a from Technique Junkies.  Using Real Red paper from SU, I heat embossed white embossing powder on the top so the red shows through.

If you look closely you will see I added brads to the patch and on the pocket.

Using Kraft paper I edged the patch and the kraft mat to the card on the right with brown ink to give it a distressed look.

For my dear friend who is celebrating his birthday this month I thought I’d use A Good Friend on his patch.  I’m not sure who will be getting the other birthday card so I used Happy Birthday 3 which makes it a versatile card.

All stamps are Technique Junkies.  Remember, all newly released stamps for February are on sale until tomorrow.

That is such a cool background stamp!! The patches look very leather like with the brads you added. These will be great cards to give to men!
