Two Stamps Two Ways

Hello folks.  Today I want to share two techniques using Technique Junkies Make Lemonade and Call the Girls.  Judy, a design team member for Technique Junkies, occasionally does this and I love to see the two versions she created.

My first card uses the Pressed Stains technique from June 2013.  I did change it up a bit and instead of using Distress Stains I used SU’s ink in Daffodil Delight, Green Galore and Pumpkin and stamped my main image using Flirty Flamingo.  I added brads to create interest.

For my second card I used the Stenciled Collage technique from the June 2013 issue. After stamping my image with Black VersaFine I used SU’s Daffodil Delight, Green Galore and Pumpkin pie.  The stencil I used was Bubbles Stencil.  Next, I added added a Spellbinders corner die to help fill some space.

The cardstock I used comes from Paper-Garden.ca.  This company is Canadian and carries a beautiful supply of papers and envelopes.  At the moment they have free shipping on orders over $50.

Which is your favourite?

Thanks for stopping by!

Hi Beth,
Your two cards are fantastic, I really like the background, I thought you repeated stamping with a small stamp until I read your description. Thanks for your kind words at my blog, take good care, Shirley xx ps.. the christening photos are fabulous, a beautiful family:) x

They are both very cool, I think I like the extra something the corner treatment gives to the second card!
