Baptism Day

Hi folks!

Today is a very special day.  My granddaughter is being baptized along side her cousin.  This worked out so convenient as my daughter lives three hours away and came to town to have Charlotte baptized so the family wouldn’t have to travel to Toronto.  It’s going to be a very large crowd.

Because Charlotte’s cousin is a boy, I used a blue matt on his card, and a pink matt for Charlotte.  Using Noah’s Ark from Our Daily Bread Designs, I stamped it out with black VersaFine and coloured it with Prismacolor pencil crayons and odorless mineral spirits.  I created clouds by sponging the top of a cloud I drew and cut out with watercolour paper because of it’s durability. Next, I cut scalloped circles in the centre of the cardstock and ran the paper through the Cuttlebug with the swirls embossing folder.  In my final step, I sprinkled Sparkle embossing powder over the entire surface.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a great day!
