How to use Jewelz Watercolor Palette
Watercolor Jewelz Palette offers a unique look when painted onto black cardstock. When held the colour is there, but when you move it around and it hits the light–WOW there’s a BIG punch which you can see in this photo.
There has been interest in seeing more work with Peel-Off’s, so for those of you who have them and don’t know what to do with them, here is another idea for you.
I had a request to explain how to use Peel Offs in depth, so you will see that in this tutorial as well.
If my photos are too small, please let me know; I’m trying to find a good fit with my new look.
Supplies: Jewelz Watercolor Palette, Peel-Offs, Paint brush
Grasp your peel off on one edge and pull. Actually, tug because the Peel Offs do not come off entirely easy. When you pull, don’t be overly aggressive, but be aggressive enough so that you pull in a smooth manner. This will prevent any edges from sticking to each other. Here is when I take a break and think about my placement.
Laying your Peel Off is best described as making a bed. The end of the sheet is laid down from bottom to top in such a way that the sheet top doesn’t touch until the bottom is laid flat. The same can be said with Peel Offs. Gently lay the bottom flat and slowly lower so the Peel Off lays flat naturally. If there is a wrinkle or a crinkle, gently lift up and try again.
Next, it is time to paint your image. The color palette looks different in the paint well as it does on black cardstock. Have a scrap piece of black cardstock to test out the colour before you start to paint with that colour.
Continue painting until your piece is finished.
There. Wasn’t that easy? If you have any questions about Peel Offs, or my tutorial, please do not hesitate to ask. I do get back to everyone.

Nov 10, 2010 - 01:11:22Thanks for the tutorial. It is really beautiful.
Wow, this is gorgeous. Love the colors.
Thanks for the tutorial. I have some peel offs but I haven’t used them yet.
I recently purchased several peel-off stickers, thanks to your previous tutorial and I’m dying to try them out! This card looks awesome! I’m going to try a few Christmas themed stickers on a dark green cardstock. Unfortunately, my scanner isn’t working right now, but when it is, I’ll email some pics to you. Hugs, Maggie
This is stunning! Love the pop of colour on black! Glad to see those peel off stickers in play…I have tons of them!
OMG this is stunning GF! I really need to try this! Your cards are awesome!
