Stampin’ Up! Saturday – Upsy Daisy

Happy Saturday everyone!!  Unfortunately it’s my weekend to work, but the days are quiet on the weekend so things will, hopefully, run smooth.

I was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest, using Upsy Daisy by Stampn’ Up!, that I just had to pull my set out.

  1. Cut out a circle with a die
  2. Cut a circle with a small die or punch onto a sticky note and place it onto your upper right corner to create a sun or moon
  3. Sponge yellow and orange ink onto white cardstock with the die still in place.  Remove small die.
  4. Rub an embossing buddy over top of your image.  It is very important that your ink is completely dry or the embossing buddy won’t do it’s job (I learned the hard way).  Either air dry your sponging or use a heat gun to speed up the drying process.
  5. Use VersaMark on your stamp and stamp out your stamp making sure your stems overhang the bottom of your circle.
  6. Sprinkle with black embossing powder and heat emboss.
  7. Finish as desired.

Thank you for stopping by!
