Try That Technique: Hidden Image
Hello, can you believe it’s Thursday already? How is your week going? Boy, has ours been going with a bang. Literally.
The pilot light in the hot water tank went out and I asked to put it back on. With his face just inches away from the flame, a flash occurred, burning his hand. I stood behind him to watch how to turn the pilot light on should I need to. The lesson learned is to call the professionals in. It was the weirdest experience to go through this dangerous mishap. I don’t know what possessed Donnie and I to pull away when the flash occurred. I have no idea why his face wasn’t burned. The angels were certainly looking over us.

Anywho, here is my card for this week’s Technique Junkie Newsletter Try That Technique challenge. It is called Hidden Image and is a bonus technique from the 2010 CD.
Have a great day my friends.

Nov 11, 2010 - 09:11:30OMG Beth! How scary and how terribly lucky that the only bad thing was a burned hand. God truly was looking out for the two of you. I am so glad that nothing really serious happened. Please take care of yourselves.
I loved your card, it is just so pretty and I really like your color choices.
Hugs – Elaine Allen
Wow! Your Guardian angels were definitely watching over you guys. So glad to hear that you are both safe. Your card is beautiful btw – cool colour combination that would not have occurred to me!
Have a happy, poignant and peaceful Remembrance Day.
God Bless, Cynthia <
Beth
Thank God neither one of you were hurt.
This is a really great card. Love it.

So glad to hear there were no further injuries…I’m even afraid to light the pilot light in our 5th wheel.
Your card is gorgeous! Love the double image and the cool background!
Oh Beth, I’m so glad that you weren’t burned, and that Donny’s burns were minor. Having watched DH live through such serious burns, I am so terrified of things like pilot lights, gas grills, etc. So glad the angels were with you. Your card is so pretty! Love it – thanks for sharing!! Take care
Thank God nobody was hurt. This could have been so much worse. We once had the glass portion of our BBQ burst while my husband was cooking. A million pieces and he didn’t get a scratch. Love your card. I have that CD so I’m going to look up the technique. Thanks.
Oh my goodness, Sure glad to read the angels was watching you that time hun. I really get goosebumps thinking of, how bad it could have been? But thanks god, it didn´t.
The card is awesome as always hun, I really like it a lot, and the colors are wonderful dear friend. Stunning work, well done.
Have a wonderful week-end hun and please stay away from that water tank hun.
Big hugs Maryann
Gorgeous card as always Beth!
I was startled to read about Donnie’s ‘lucky’ escape!!! I’m so relieved it wasn’t any worse.
hugs to you both, Viv xxx
Love the card Beth and am working on mine, again so glad you and Donnie were not seriously hurt, how freaky.
Beth – that’s why they use those long metal wires that hold a match on the end to light the pilot lights! LOL! Thank goodness no one was hurt!
Wow Beth!!! I am happy that you two are ok.
