Technique Junkie Newsletter Faux Marble

Whew, isn’t that some weather we are getting.  Florida is cold, and parts of Canada are getting slammed with snow.  I can still see the grass where I live (albeit we do have a sprinkling of snow), London, a city one hour away, is considering a state of emergency.  The snow they have is unbelievable.

My Santa Claus tags are appropriate for this time of year–both because it’s the Christmas season, and because the temperatures are cold and the snow is falling.  Over my stamp, I heat embossed white snowflakes.

My tags are using the Faux Marble technique from the October 2009 issue of the Technique Junkie Newsletter.  As you know, Diana Enns and I challenge each other to create a card or project each week.  This will be our last challenge until January 6th.

If you aren’t a subscriber, you might be interested in giving yourself an early Christmas present.  Click here to find out details on Pat’s blog.  Also, you will notice a Paypal button along Pat’s side bar where you can order your Fancy Folds and Motion CD.  It’s a hot seller right now with over 60 tutorials.  If you do subscribe, please let Pat know Beth sent you.

Thank you for stopping by.  Keep warm

Stamps:  Tim Holtz, PSX

Wonderful tags Beth, they make me feel very Christmassy 😀 and the marble effect looks great! Weird weather over here too…..14 inches of snow one day, next day torrential rain and snow all gone :), very strange! Chris 🙂

Love your tags!! One of these years I’ll make the tags. Never seem to have the time.
I’m hoping NY is not going to be as snowy as it was last year. The shovel is NOT my friend! Snowblowers are useless when you have 2 feet of snow. My dog likes it. That’s one out of 3 of us! I prefer to look at it from the inside of a nice warm house.
