Try That Technique: Cling Pearls
Have you ever wondered if a watercoloured image would coordinate with a technique background? Today I have just the card for you.
When Diana challenged me to use Cling Pearls for the Technique Junkie Newsletter challenge, I was stumped about using it with any other medium. Yes, I was stumped. So, I turned to Julie’s Mojo Monday sketch and that got me moving.
I decided to pull out a circular stamp and my Tombow Markers and to work I went. I was pleased with how the watercolour worked with this image.
Next, the challenge was to choose colours to coordinate with my Cling Pearls. I started with the main colour, and turned the colour wheel so that the blue/purple was at the top. Looking along the bottom, there were three choices to use as accents. As you can see, I used two colours: red/orange, burnt orange and went back up to the purple/blue colours and used a blue.
The open space bothered me (you know how I like to fill up my space) so I used a new-to-me flourish. Oh, how I love flourishes. Do you?
You will more watercolours to come. Have a great day, and happy stamping!

So beautiful work again hun. Oh I love the look of that butterfly. Ofcause it´smy favorit color, but it look almost transparent and yet sooo colorful. Sooo gorgeous, and I really like the way you´ve put this up here.Stunning work again hun.
the flourish really blances the card well. You did a great job with colors on this card – it all works!
