It’s Time to Bloom
Hi stampers. Did you enjoy your Easter weekend?
Today I have a card that uses Creative Inspirations Paint. As you know, I love these buttery paints that leave behind a shimmer just like Twinkling H2O’s. These paints are so easy to use too. The orange in the bow and along the bottom of the skirt was painted with a CI paint stick, and the orange on the collar and dress were painted with my chisel-end paint brush. Creative Inspirations paints leave shimmer which I will show you in my close up
This cute Raggedy Anne is called You’re a Doll and is a digital image from Sweet and Sassy Stamps. Sentiment is from Stampin’ Up! Nope, that’s not a blemish in my photo: it’s a skin blemish from using too much glue.

Card Details:
- Sponge a sky onto the background
- Use the Martha Stewart winter icicle punch and turn it upside down to create grass
- Adhere image to background, leaving the glue off of the face
- Add a butterfly to the smaller image area
- Use the Dry Embossed Wash technique in the background
- Add ribbon (SU here) to card
A note about Creative Inspirations Paint
- It comes as a thick melted butter in small pots, a little larger than Twinkling H2O’s
- CI paints are easier to use than Twinkling H2O’s because CI paints come in a liquid form
- There are over 50 colours to choose from
- CI paints can be painted on with their paint stick or with a regular paint brush
- Paint adheres to vellum and non porous surfaces
