How to Make a Circle Gatefold Card
Gatefold cards are pretty popular, and today I will show you how to make a circular card. My stamped image is from Impression Obsession.
Score board or blade, large scallop nestie, large regular nestie (not in photo), cardstock, embossing/cutting machine such as the Cricut, cardstock cut to 7 7/8″ x 4 1/4″. Score cardstock at 1 15/16″ on the left side and then again on the right side.
Fold the gatefold card so it lays closed. Situate your scallop nestie so it overlaps the folded edges slightly and run through machine.
Cut out designer paper with the largest non scallop nestie.
Lay your card open. Place adhesive on one of the flaps and lay designer paper down. Flip the card over and cut down the center of the designer paper. Adhere the now-free designer paper to the other gatefold.
This is how your piece should look. You are now ready to assemble your card.
Hope you enjoyed today’s round gatefold tutorial.

Oct 23, 2012 - 07:10:29Love your card and it looks like it is easy to put together. I just might have to put my scallop circle dies to use.
This is amazing! I love how it is round and seems easy enough to put together! I would have never thought to do this! You’re the best!
