Cuttlebug Glowing Under the Christmas Tree

Joining in Pat’s Blogstravaganza, I created the Cuttlebug Glow background from the October ’07 edition of the Technique Junkie Newsletter.  Not all backgrounds have to be used on cards; here I created a box (my tutorial here) and covered the box to house a Christmas present for my daughter.  She is crazy over pink, so I made it as pink as I could.  What you can’t see from this photo, is the extreme shine to this background which is why it is called the Cuttlebug Glow technique.

The elegance of this box allows it to go under the tree just as it is.  I don’t want to hide the pretty background at all.  The Odd Bird Planet sentiment completes the elegant look, don’t you think?
