Tutorial Tuesday: Christmas Invitation
It’s the holiday season and many of us are having parties. Today’s tutorial shows you how to create your own lovely invitation. This criss cross card is extra tall so you will have plenty of room to add writing. Have fun creating your own invitations.
Supplies:Â Double-sided paper, double-sided tape, embellishments
Cut the following:
1 – 5 1/2 x 6 1/2 for back of card
2 – 5 1/2 x 6 for front
1 – 4 3/4 x 5 1/2 for mat
1 – 4 1/2 x 5 1/4 top piece
Using the two front pieces, put the wrong sides together
Cut the paper on an angle. It may be helpful to create a template, like I did, so no mistakes are made cutting into your good paper.
Place double-sided tape on the back of the criss crossed front. Adhere it to your card back.
My designer paper was so pretty, I chose to cut out the image to decorate my card.
Paper:Â Basic Grey
