Superbowl Sunday showcasing Block Fill
Well, it’s Superbowl Sunday and I have a party to go to. I’m not a sports fan at all but never can turn down a party. This morning Al and I put our rubber gloves on and stuffed jalapenos to take to the party. Nice idea–too much work and won’t be making them again–LOL. I was real thankful for the help in the kitchen.
Isn’t my owl the cutest? I bought him two years ago and only inked him up now. Do you do the same thing? I thought the owl would be a perfect pairing with the Block Fill technique from the Technique Junkie Newsletter. It’s been a long time since I pulled out my prismacolor pencil crayons and boy did I enjoy colouring.
I’m still in a mess with my move and can’t wait to get stamping again. Enjoy your Sunday and have a good week!

Feb 3, 2013 - 05:02:34I wouldn’t turn down a party either. No parties for me today so I’m experimenting once again.
I love your Owl and yes I have stamps I’ve bought that I’ve never used or maybe used once. My goal for this year is to use those stamps. Also to see if I can use the stamps in different ways. I just discovered last week that I can heat emboss on cotton fabric.
I’m loving your block fill technique. It works great with the owl. Thanks for sharing.
Have a wonderful week!
Oh Beth I love your Owl and that looks like such a fun technique gorgeous card and have fun at your party bet your poppers are a big hit.
Hi Beth! Enjoy the party! Stuffed jalapeños are yummy, but you’re right, too much like hard work! lol
Love the card! That black background sets of your cute owl a treat! Yep! I’m guilty of buying stamps that never see the light of day! Must give them an airing.

What a gorgeous card here Beth. I LOVE owl, and yours here are sooooo cute and well colored as usual, and I also just love the black background for it, it really make it look it´s best somehow.
Many wonderful small details, that together makes it a masterpiece again hun.
Hope you´ll soon get all settled, so you can get to play more with all these unused stamps, that I must admit, I´m sure, we all have a few of LOL.
You are so cute Bethie! This little fellow is just adorable! LOVE HIM to pieces! That technique is awesome! I love a good party too! We just stayed home and watched the commercials, oh wait I mean the game! LOL!
