Inked Resist
Hello friends. Look who is posting regular semi regular again. I promised myself that I would work more in my stamp room and post. Just like the good ‘ol days.
I have to admit that this is one of my favourite cards that I’ve made in quite some time. I love the shabbiness of the Inked Resist technique, paired with my signature bright colours.
My main image is from Stampington & Co and is one of the very first stamps I ever bought. What was your first stamp?

WOW! You are really on a roll my friend!
I love it! You have outdid yourself this time. Beautiful color combination. Thanks for sharing.
My first stamp was a decorated Christmas tree and I bought at the same time a Christmas sentiment stamp. There were not a lot of stamps available where I lived. This was back before computers and up to that point if I didn’t want to hand write I would have to type my sentiment. I usually typed out the sentiments as my handwriting including my printing is so bad. I had markers and often used those on the stamps and then huffed on my stamps. The only ink pads available were black and red in an office supply department. It is really Carol Duvall’s fault that I got into stamping. I would watch her program and when she did a segment on stamping I was hooked. In fact she got me doing all kinds of creative projects.
Hi Beth, love your gorgeous card, the colours are so clear and beautiful.
My first stamp was a dolphin and I still have it and the rainbow stamp pad that I bought with it. And…..that was the start of my addiction.
