Welcome Baby

Welcome Baby is the challenge I participated in.

There are some very cute baby gifts put together by the Cuttlebug Challenge Blogspot design team.

This is my gift set to welcome baby.  I will be packaging this set up and will be sending them off to a family member who just found out she was pregnant.

The baby buggy was cut out with Nestabilities and punches.  The shoes came from a pattern Kim designed.  Gold embossing adds a little interest to the shoe.

Jennifer McGuire Inspired Card

Inspiration by Jennifer McGuire is the theme for this challenge

Jennifer McGuire made a video tutorial on sanding away white core paper, and colouring overtop onto the white portion.

This is my take on the tutorial.

After sanding away the core, I used pastel chalks and a Q-tip to colour the CB background.

Stay tuned for another challenge I am participating in, welcoming baby.

Spa Weekend at the CB Blogspot

Enjoy a relaxing weekend at the Spa with the Cuttlebug Challenge Blogspot

Friday evening I spent a couple of hours participating in the blog hop Kick Off.  There were 30 blogs to visit, where each DT member gave us the name of their favourite flower.  After I retrieved all the answers, I sent off an e-mail with the information, for my chance to win a Cuttlebug.

An apple template was provided compliments of Sheetload Shortcuts.  I created four 6″ x 6″ thank you cards for teachers.

Tree and sentiment are from Odd Bird Planet.

Chipboard letter was painted with white acrylic paint.  Polka dots were added to the chipboard, card background, and leaves with a stylus dipped in paint.
