Splitcoast Stampers posted their weekly Sketch Challenge a couple of days ago, so I decided to play along.  These flowers were watercoloured with SU ink refills.

Elegant Peony

splitcoaststampers-cc3258

It’s my first day of two weeks holiday, and I buried myself in the studio all day.  This card was made for Splitcoast Stampers Colour Challenge:  Basic Black, Kiwi Kiss and Elegant Eggplant.  Having run out of Kiwi Kiss, I substituted with Old Olive.

The peony flower was stamped out four times onto watercolour paper, turned over and then watercoloured with Tombow and Stampin’ Up markers.  The decorative rectangle is from SU, and the decorative corners are CB.  Ribbon is from Michaels.

I attended a scrapbook workshop last night over at Stephanie’s house.  Haven’t scrapbooked in over a year and it was so much fun to get back into it, and meeting stampers and scrapbookers in the area.

Thank you for stopping by.  Have a great day!

Go Confidentally in the Direction of Your Dreams

Hi Folks!

Today’s challenge on Splitcoast Stampers is to CASE Teresa–va.sunshine’s gallery.   I decided to case va.sunshine’s, “Peace.”

In CASEing Teresa’s project, I changed the shape of the panels and did a summer theme instead of a Christmas theme.  I loved how she tied her ribbon so I did the same.

Thank you for stopping by.  Hope you have a fabulous week ahead!
