Fishy Fishy in the Brook

Fishy Fishy in the brook, Bethie’s caught them on a hook. Doesn’t this little ditty remind you of childhood?
This card is one you may remember from the past. Until I’m back on my feet, I’ll have some “blasts from the past” for you. It’s been three weeks since I’ve been in my stamp room and I’m missing it tremendously.
Watching my stats, I see you haven’t left me, and for that I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Sketch Challenge
It’s another week, and another new challenge, and a week closer to getting a new blog.
Did you know that we have lots of new JustRite stamps in our store? We have stamp sets for the Diva, the coffee lover, the early bird who is starting their Christmas cards, and a whole lot more.
Our team put together some awesome cards with Jennifer’s sketch. Just look at the yummy cards….

Cathy used JustRite’s Favourite Occasions and Borders

Karen used Chocolate Dipped Strawberry

Jennifer used Chocolate Dipped Strawberry

Beth used Amber

Kim used Chocolate Covered Strawberry

Jerusha used Chocolate Covered Strawberry

My blog is broken and does not accept message (insert very sad face), so I can’t give away any prizes. Rest assure I am working on getting a new blog up and running very soon.
In the meantime, enjoy our sketch. We hope you love it as much as we do.
Yellow, Red, Blue
It’s Saturday, and the DT has some awesome things to show you, using Yellow, Red and Blue. Normally you have the opportunity to link up your card for a chance to win a prize, but my blog is corrupt and will not accept comments. In the meantime, sit back and enjoy these lovely cards and projects.

Jerusha’s card uses Amber and Joy Flourish

Cathy Yamashita’s card uses New York Door

Kim’s card uses the New York Door

Jennifer’s card uses White Rabbit

Beth’s card uses Rachelle Ann Miller’s Congratulations stamp

Karen uses JustRite’s Romantic Sayings
My design team rocks! We hope you feel inspired to use yellow, red and blue in your next project.

SD35: They Say It’s Your Birthday
JustRite stamps are flying off the shelves
and a new shipment has arrived.
The design team are having a lot of fun with their new JustRite stamps. This week we are celebrating birthdays, and what a colourful celebration it is.
We think JustRite stamps are a nice addition to our store because they are so versatile. JustRite has a very unique design. The hand held block holds two images: the center design and a circular design/sentiment.  Personalization doesn’t get better than that!
Canadian, eh!
Our store is Canadian, so you pay in Canadian funds.
Need some inspiration? Visit our design team blogs (listed on the side bar). Jerusha has a tutorial for you.

SD34 Colour Challenge: Teal, Artichoke, Pomagranate

I used JustRite’s My Gardens Centers and Borders
Teal, Artichoke, Pomagranate…truly “my” colours. Jennifer is our Challenge Coordinator and selected these awesome colours for us to work with. Some of the DT members told me these colours were outside their comfort zone, but I think they did a magnificent job with them.
The design team posted their cards on their blogs, so go take a peak to see the deets. Their links are on my side bar.

Cathy used JustRite’s Favourite Occasions and Basic Grey DP

Jerusha used Mahone Bay and was inspired to use these colours on the church because of the candy cane coloured houses in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Canada’s maritime provinces are beautiful (I used to live there too).

Beth used White Rabbit

Kim used White Rabbit

Jennifer used Moose

SD Challenge 33: Luck of the Irish

Rose’s card
The Leprachauns are out and about and I caught a glimse of a couple of them. If I catch one, do you think they will show me where the pot of gold is? Our design team is getting into the Irish spirit and created some awesome cards for you.
If you want to play along, all you have to do is create an Irish related card or project, link it up to us, and mention us in your post. If you post to an on-line forum, name it SD33.

SD Challenge: Easter

Here comes Peter Cotton Tail, hopping down the bunny trail. Don’t you remember singing that as a kid? Easter was always so special. We woke up to the Easter Bunny’s arrival and had new dresses for church. My Polish grandmother would take mom, my sisters and I to church to have our Easter baskets (filled with food) blessed. As I got older I continued on with my own tradition and sewed matching dresses for my daughter, Sarah, and I.
What is your Easter tradition? I would love to hear about it.
Easter will be here soon, so we thought we would get creative and get ahead of the game by creating something for Easter. We are excited to announce that:
We now carry JustRite stamps
To view our stamps click here
Here is what set we used today:

The fun thing about JustRite is that they sell their wooden handle separately, so you can interchange a variety of sets. Each stamp is interlocking and fits snuggly into the handle. The circular sentiments are separate from the center image so you can change the colour of your ink or use a different sentiment.
The Design Team have created some cute projects for you…
