Whoo, hooo, it’s Friday. Can’t wait to work in my gardens. The weather is half decent, so I can plan out my water feature.

While waiting for the weekend, I put together a card for the Gingersnap Creations blog. The Technique Junkie Newsletter is sponsoring Gingersnap Creations for the month of May. We are highlighting the Emboss or Die CD that Pat and I worked on. If you play along, over at Gingersnap, you will have a chance to win the Emboss or Die CD.

This week’s theme is to use twine. Because this month’s theme is cowboys and cowgirls and I don’t have any of those images, I turned to Scrappin Doodles for these cute digi images. I used Copic markers.

My card uses the Side Step card which can be found on our Fancy Folds and Motions CD.

Good luck!

As you know, I love to scrapbook my dogs, and using the Cute Cuts technique was an awesome one to use, This idea was one of mine and thought it would be perfect for Pat to use in her newsletter. Not only do I come up with work on my own blog, but I come up with ideas for the Technique Junkie Newsletter as well.

Here you see Tempting Turquoise with Cool Caribbean (I am down to my last package of this luscious colour). Scraps of other blues were used too.

I am sorry that I don’t remember who made the doggie paper.

Each week Diana Enns and I challenge each other to using one of the techniques from the Newsletter, and this week it is Cute Cuts. Please join us at our Yahoo group, if you are a subscriber. We’d love to see your work.
