Bloom Where You’re Planted

Impression Obsession Butterfly, Bloom Where You're Planted

Bloom Where You’re Planted is this week’s theme for the Impression Obsession blog challenge.  As you may know, I love Impression Obsession and have become a regular in their challenges.  It allows me to ink up stamps and not leave them sitting around unused like we I so often do.

I used the Blender Pen Technique from the Technique Junkie Newsletter.  I love to use my Tombows and seem to be using them more these days.

The stamp I used is Sunflower with Butterflies H1771.  I do love my sunflowers and was thrilled when I stumbled upon this stamp.

About the buttons, Al asked me why I added them.  All I could say was I needed to embellish the card.  What do you think.  Could this card stand on it’s own without embellishments?

Beautiful card Beth! Your stamp is a real smasher coloured to perfection as always. As for the buttons, they finish the card off beautifully. I would have used yellow or blue, but that’s just me. LOVE it! xxx

Hey there, dear friend! Wow! What a pretty card! Yes, this card could absolutely stand on its own, with no buttons…however! Being the button addict I am, I love the buttons…sorry Al! Thanks for sharing, and good luck!

The coloring is absolutely gorgeous.
This card could do with or without the buttons, either way it is a smashing card.

In relation to the size of your card and background, it definitely needs some embellishments. I would have chosen colored items though to pop against the pink and probably used 3 smaller buttons instead of 2.
The stamped image, I adore and the way you colored it too !

I think the buttons are important on this card. I kind of like the clear ones, they add texture without taking any focus away from that gorgeous stamp and your brilliant colouring!

Another card that rocks! Very sweet with the buttons. For myself I would have gone with three smaller buttons but then I have a thing for things in threes.

I love the stamp you used and like usual great job coloring.
