Crafty Kat Creations Craft Store Open in Sarnia

Photo 1

With three scrapbook and craft stores closing in one year, Sarnia, Ontario, has long been in a need for a craft store.  Kathryne Knowles, owner of Crafty Kat Creations opened her store at 140 Christina Street North in the old Taylor’s Furniture Building, in September.  It can’t be missed as it is on the corner of Cromwell and Christina in a bright red building.

Please note that you have to walk through Costumes Canada to reach the back of the store where Crafty Kat Creations hangs out.

There is a large range of products for scrapbookers, stampers and mixed media artists.  Just look at all the Ranger goodness.  They even carry Color Bursts, a much sought after product new in the market of mixed media.

They offer Kids Club Classes where ages 4 to 12 are invited to create one or two projects for $10.  It’s a great time to drop off your children to run errands.  Snacks are provided.  The next class will be held on Saturday, February 20th.  More details can be found on their Facebook Page; just search for Crafty Kat Creations and you’ll find it.

It’s child’s play time at the store too.  You can hold a birthday party, or a whatever party for children where crafts will be made.  Please see Kathryne, or Presley, for details.

There is an abundance of awesome dies from Ranger, Impression Obsession, Lawn Fawn, Tim Holtz.  They also carry Dylusion sprays, and color bursts as mentioned previously.

And, of course, I had to add my favourite products, Crazy Birds and accessories.  Crazy Cats are due in the store shortly.

Occasionally there are card classes, which will be posted to their Facebook Page.  3 cards are offered for $15.

And for you Stampin Up! fans, you’ll be pleased to know there are SU products in the store as well as a catalogue for ordering.

Local artists have their work on display, for free.  So if you are an artist and have something that you want to share, please speak to Kathryne or Presley.

At the present time the store accepts cash or credit only.  Debit has not been set up yet.

Go take a peak and tell them Beth sent you.
