Technique Junkies New Release Hop

Technique Junkies, Sunflowers and Dragonflies, Tri Shutter Card, Nautical card Welcome stampers to Technique Junkies June 1st blog hop.  If you came from Jane Bosi’s blog you’re on the right track, but if you didn’t start from the beginning you don’t want to miss a thing so head over to the Design Junkies blog.  I so admire Jane’s style of work, and I’m sure you got inspired.

For my Tri-Fold card I used the tutorial on the Fancy Folds and Motion CD.  I used nautical paper and I used the stamp Bold Shells above and below the mermaid and cut them into inchies after colouring the image which you can see below.  From By the Sea set of 6 stamps, I stamped my Mermaid onto water-like designer paper.  My sentiment that comes from the same set says, “There are a million fish in the sea, but me, I am a mermaid.”

Technique Junkies, Sunflowers and Dragonflies, By the Sea, Nautical card

I love colouring and had fun colouring Bold Shells.  You’ll see it again in my post below.

Technique Junkies, Sunflowers and Dragonflies, Triple the Fun, Nautical card

Using Bold Shells I used the technique which I filmed called Triple the Fun from the February 2013 issue of the Technique Junkie Newsletter.  The blue card stock that I used is Marina Mist from Stampn’ Up!.    The sentiment comes from By the Sea, set of 6 stamps.

Technique Junkies, Sunflowers and Dragonflies, Aged Tiles, Nautical card

And finally, I used the stamp call Fishing Boat with the Aged Tiles technique which comes from the April 2009 issue of the Technique Junkie Newsletter.  This technique can also be found on the Simple & Easy Inking Techniques CD.  I found the knot on Pinterest and got Al to do it up for me. I’m going to bite the bullet and will attempt to make the next couple of them.  I like this masculine card so much that the next six men in my life will be receiving this style of card.

As you can see, I had a blast with this new release.  You will love what Pam DeChellis has in store for you which is the next stamper on the hop.

As always, new release stamps will be 15% off until June 8th.  I hope I inspired you.
