Technique Junkies Christmas Release Blog Hop
Welcome to the Technique Junkies new release blog hop. If you like Christmas stamps as much as I do, you’re in for a treat. You’ll see that I had lots of fun, and I want you to have fun too, so be sure to start at the Design Junkies blog where it is the start to the hop. If you came from the talented Kathy Stacy’s blog, then you’re on the right track. Kathy always thinks outside the box, which is why I love her work so much.
My card above uses Safari Santa and was watercoloured onto watercolour paper with Tombow markers. The image was stamped out twice so I could cute the hat and layer it with pop dots, and in real life it looks really cute. White stickles were added to the fur and ball of the hat.
For my second card I used Christmas Carol Kitty who is singing “Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree, you’re ornaments are history.” Pretty funny, eh?!
In my background I used Flourished Christmas Tree from last year’s Christmas release (sorry, this stamp is not on sale).
My colour comes from spraying my watercolour paper and tapping Color Bursts on top, and then respraying lightly.
For my third card I created a background using the Shaving Cream Technique and stamped Calm & Bright over top of that.
Now it’s time to go and have fun at Pam DeChellis’ blog where you will find some awesome work.
New release stamps on sale for 15% off until October 10th.

Oct 1, 2016 - 08:10:03Thanks for the compliment Beth!! Love the giraffe – so fun with that glitter. Love that shaving cream background too.
Three great projects. Love all the different coloring techniques. How cool that we are neighbors! I am not far from Sarnia. We go thru Port Huron and Sarnia when we visit my husbands relatives in Niagara Falls area.
Great cards and fun new stamps! I do like that pretty flourished tree you used too. The cat is so funny, great idea on what he should be singing!
Great cards. Love the giraffe.
Hi Beth, Your cards are beautiful, I especially like the flourished tree on the 2nd design along with the background. I hope you are having a great weekend. xxx
What a wonderful variety, Beth! I laughed out loud at the sentiment about the ornaments – too funny! Love your Safari Santa, and the last card is so pretty with the shaving cream. Well done, my friend!!! Hope you enjoyed Magnificent Seven – we thought it was good. Old fashioned western – lots of shoot ’em up, but a bit of laughter too. And I love anything Denzel is in! Have a nice Sunday – hugs!
What fun Christmas cards, Beth! I really love the 2nd one w/ the fun greeting, lol. I’ve never had a cat but one or two of my parrots have also made history of ornaments & sequins on the Christmas tree skirt.
