Happy Birthday to my Fisherman

Happy Birthday to my partner, Al.  He loves to fish and he fell in love with this style of card when we were in a scrapbook store, so I gathered all the confidence I could find and tackled this Pop-Up Box Card, which turned out to be easier than I thought.  You can find directions with a video on Splitcoaststampers.

I thought that seagulls would be a perfect touch so I used Jolee’s by You seagulls.

The green envelope underneath my card is 6 x 9 because the Seagull stuck out so much.  The quality and quick service of my envelopes from Paper-Garden.ca were terrific.  They have such a large selection of colours and sizes.  Paper-Garden.ca also carries a tremendous variety of cardstock as well.  And, if you buy right now, they have free shipping if you spend $50 or more.

My stamps are from Rubbernecker. I hate to say it, but my designer paper is over six years old so I don’t have a supply list for you.

I know those cards take quite a bit of time, and I am sure that Al will appreciate it! Very fun fishing images and I like how you arranged everything. The paper has a really nice masculine feel and goes perfectly!
