Under the Sea

Hello folks!  I had fun getting under the sea with Technique Junkies stamps.  I was inspired by watching Pat Huntoon’s video on direct to rubber with Nuvo Glitter Markers.  Nuvo Glitter Markers sparkle so pretty in real life.  I had a lot of fun colouring my stamps because the markers are so juicy.  I’ve had these markers for a while and this is the first time I used them.  I’ll definitely be using these more.

I took two days off last week, and was off on Friday since I worked on the weekend, and started in on my Christmas baking.  I’m anxious to ice my sugar cookies iced.  Yesterday I was off again (since I worked the weekend) so I made my gingerbread cookies.  I’m in a Christmas cookie exchange so my chow mein cookies that I’m exchanging are the last of my baking.  The last thing to make is peanut brittle.

How are you doing with your Christmas and holiday plans?

Stamps:  Swirl Turtle, Shadow Weeds and Together.

Cute card !!
Christmas baking sounds yummy.
Not sure what’s on the menu for baked goods this year. Peanut brittle for sure. That will be closer to the day though as I have so much else to try and get done.

Great card, Beth! I haven’t tried a Nuevo marker yet. Guess I’ll need to find some now! Gosh, I thought I was doing well with my holiday checklist, but not after reading about all you’ve done already! Wow!!! I did, actually seal the last of my 65 handmade cards for folks at church! Now to begin personal Christmas cards!

Very fun stamp and I like your technique. I bet those glitter markers are a lot of fun. I was hoping to actually take part in a Cookie exchange this year, but I did not have time to bake yet! I actually am not even sure what I am going to make this year. We shall see. Enjoy!
