Stenciled Embossing

Hi there fellow stampers and friends.  Today I want to show you an easy way to make a card simply by using heat embossing and a stencil.  Technique Junkies carries a huge line of A Colorful Life Stencils and you can get those, and any other product at 10% off simply by using my code TJ10Beth.  Now that a steal of a deal.

Here I used Island Flowers stencil.  I didn’t add embellishments as I wanted to keep this card mailable across the border to the US.  Now onto my tutorial.

Supplies:  Stencil, embossing powder, embossing buddy, VersaMark and heat gun

Using your embossing buddy, rub over the entire surface

Optional:  You can tape down your stencil.  I felt confident enough to get a good result without taping so you won’t see my stencil taped down.

Press VersaMark over your entire stencil, particularly in the open areas.

Cover with embossing powder and heat emboss your entire card front

You are now ready to complete your card as desired.
