Free Spirit

Hello there.  First, let me apologize for the poor lighting.  When I took a bunch of photos there was no sun for days.  Just rain.

I fell in love with this stamp called Free Spirit because it reminded me of my cousin, Terry Ann, who is a free spirit.  She has a business doing Reiki, Indi Head Massage, Massages, and card readings.

This stamp can be yours at 10% off simply by using my code TJ10Beth.  There are four stamps in this set which you can see here.

Have I told you how much I love my Misti?  It came in very handy when I “coloured” my stamp.  Using Tombow markers, I coloured my stamp in small sections and stamped out my image multiple times until I was satisfied with the darkness of colour.

My background was created by cutting multiple blue shades of cardstock, in an angular direction.  After gluing on my cardstock with Modge Podge, I trimmed the edges once it was dry.  Next, I ran my background through my Big Shot (yes, after 10 years my Cuttlebug bit the dust) using a wood grain embossing folder.

You’ll be seeing more of this stamp set, that’s for sure!

Thanks for stopping by!

What did we do without our stamp positioned? I have the MITI, and also the Stamparatus, and use them for nearly every card! Beth, I love this! It’s so brilliant, using the different color markers for inking! Great job, beautiful card!

Beth, this is so pretty. This look with the markers suits this stamp so well, and I really like the saying. I know what you mean about the lighting. I have a pile of cards sitting here that are not photographed yet because we haven’t had any sun. Luckily, today it is a really nice day!! Hope you are doing well!

Sounds like you have been getting the same weather we have had. My sister in law would love this, neat way you did the background too. What did we ever do before our Misti’s 🙂 I love mine too!

Totally in love with that background, will be trying that. Love the stamp, I know it’s Native American but it reminds me of cross stitich. You do such good work with your markers. xoxo
