Being a Family

Hello fellow stampers.  How is your week going?  For my fellow Canadians, did you have a nice long weekend?  Unfortunately it rained all weekend where I live.  For my American friends and readers of my blog–any big plans for your long weekend?

I had to work this weekend, but I still managed to do a sample card for my next video tutorial on June 1st for Technique Junkies new release.  I’m sure you’ll like what I came up with.  Aren’t I such a tease!?

My card uses Technique Junkies Being a Family.  The peacock cardstock was heat embossed in gold, and the copper was heat embossed with a light copper.  Embellishments, using sequins and twine, were added to finish things off.

Thanks for stopping by.

It sounds like our long weekend is going to be like yours was with a lot of rain, figures because hubby actually has it off this year.
Love your beautiful card, like the colors and that twine matches so well with your embossing of the sweet sentiment!

I love the gold embossing on that teal color. The color of the leaf image pops too. Great job!

We are not opened up yet so we don’t have plans. We will just putter around the house and maybe do some yard work I guess.

The mix of colors on the embossing is so striking..especially against the teal blue bg. Love the leaf branches, too.
