Happy Birthday

Hello fellow stampers!

Way back in October it was Pat Huntoon’s birthday, and this was the card I made for her.  Because I just cannot get enough of Gnome for Christmas, I created a birthday card.  I like to stretch out my stamps.  For example, my double easel card calendar that I posted on December 3rd, is another example how I stretched out my stamps.  Below, I included the Christmas card I made with this very stamp.  I coloured the image with Prismacolor pencil crayons and blended with odorless mineral spirits.

Look at your stamps, and see how you can stretch them out too.

Oh Beth… that adorable she-gnome is perfect on this birthday card. Your coloring is fabulous, too!

Both cards are so pretty, such great unique designs on each and like that you used one for a birthday card and another for a Christmas card. Great coloring, like how you did the highlights!

Simply adorable Bethie! Love the gnome. I do have some gnome stamps but never think to use them. I’m not certain I understand what you mean by stretch them out, but I’m guessing like using the same stamp for different occasions. To that I definitely agree! Did you get my email? Happy New Year! XOX
