Love is in the air

Yes, love is in the air for many of us card makers.  Now is the time to start thinking Valentine cards.  If you use my code TJ10Beth you can get 10% off the stamps I used today.  Plus, you get 10% off the remainder of your shopping cart.  Whoop Whoop!

Directions for how I made my card

  1. Using 4″ x 5 1/4″, watercolour paper, rub a variety of watercolour markers (I used Tombow) over your entire surface and heat set.
  2. Rub entire surface with embossing buddy.
  3. Stamp out Valentine Heart Border two times.
  4. Sprinkle with clear embossing powder and heat set.
  5. Using clean water, and a painting brush, generously wet your watercolour paper and wipe away the colour with a baby wipe.
  6. Stamp out the word Love from Love, Faith and Peace, Set of 10 and using a circular punch, punch out the word Love.
  7. Once background is completely dry, pop dot the sentiment and add black border then adhere to card front.

Adorable and colorful, Bethie! Hey, my friend in Barrie got her card I sent her yesterday. I mailed hers out same day as yours. I’m so hoping you get yours in the next day or two. Please let me know so I can post it, I need cards to post, lol. Xox
