Beautiful Friend

Stampin Up has been releasing some sets that I adore, and Friends are Like Seashells is one of those sets.  As a lover of the ocean I was drawn in by the seashells, and when I read these beautiful sentiments I knew I had to buy this set immediately.  Friends are Like Seashells is in the mini catalogue and won’t be around long.  Although, if I had to hazard a guess, I’d say these just might be available in the annual catalogue coming in spring because this set is so popular.  I also bought the coordinating embossing folder.

My card was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest.  What did we do without Pinterest?  It wasn’t long ago my friend had to tell me how to work my way around it.  For the longest time I never jumped on board thinking it was just another thing on my plate.  Little did I know that one goes down the rabbit hole very easily because there are so many visual pleasing things to see.  What I really need to learn is to make subfolders.  Can anyone help me out?

Thanks for stopping by today.  You made my day!

Did you know I make You Tube videos?  There is a link along the top of my blog.

Beautiful ocean and sandy beach feel to your background and the shells look great with it, and nice embossing folder too!
I am not sure what you mean about subfolders, all I know is to create the folders with the theme you want to go into it.

What a beautiful card! I just received the stamps and dies on Saturday. Haven’t had time to ink it up yet, and the embossing folder is back ordered, but will get to it after Wednesday! Thanks for sharing and inspiring – I can’t wait to see what else you make with this set!

A very natural and organic beach card, Bethie. That inked background looks stipled, love the texture of it. I tried going over to my Pinterest and seeing if I could tell you what to do. I’ve done it in the past but apparently slept since then because I can’t figure out now how I did it. So I googled. It says go into the board you want sections in (they call subfolders sections), and then click on Organize, then you will see where you can add sections to that board. Hope that helps. And THANK YOU so much for the adorable Easter card! Those bunnies are too cute and I enjoyed your letter. I am not feeling too well right now, but will definitely catch up with you once I can get to feeling better. I am back in the neck brace and yup, the cane. The pain is wearing me out! Hugs and thanks again, xoxo
