Grow With Love

Hello friends!  Do you see buds popping out where you live?  We are starting to see the signs of spring.  Currently in an apartment, I used to spend countless hours in the gardens and there was a lot of love from me because my gardens were always in bloom.  I had a tiger lilly and shasta daisy garden along the side of my house.  In the front there was a blue/purple/white garden, wildflower garden, and a red/gold garden.  Do you have gardens?  If you do, what is your favourite part of it?

Today’s card is perfect for spring.  Fresh green and pink colours were used to create my 3-D card.  The background paper is not designer paper.  It is a background stamp called Garden Party, which was coloured with pencil crayons.  Grow with Love focal point was placed into my Misti (what tool do you use?) and each word on my stamp was watercoloured with watercolour markers.  I huffed on the colour to reactivate the colour, and pressed down, repeating the process two or three times more.

Added to this card is one of my handmade flowers and leaves.

Have a great week, and stay safe.

Wow that looked just like patterned paper, just beautiful! such a fun fold too, lovely flower!
We have Irises getting ready to bloom soon and they have a grape smell to them, they were given to us from my hubby’s sister. We have a blooming tree in the back corner too but it didn’t last long with all the high winds and rain we have had.

Oh, Bethie, this is one gorgeous card! You do the fun folds so well. Perfect designer paper choice and awesome focal sentiment on front. I have the Tim stamping platform and as often as I use it (not much), I seem to want the SU one. Never wanted the Misti but it sure can take abuse as I have seen Pat’s videos, heeheehee. Wow, I bet your house gardens were fabulous, you must have a green thumb for sure! XOX

I’m so far behind! Can’t believe I missed this masterpiece! That is one fabulous creation! Love the Garden Party, looks like designer paper, and your sentiment was perfectly huffed! I have a Tim Holtz, a Stamparatus, and a Misti. The Misti is my go to most of the time, but when I’m doing a large mass production project, I reach for the Stamparatus, as I can do a few steps at a time. Great card, sweet friend!
