Happy Birthday Emma!
Hi fellow stampers! Today I have a fun fold for you. I made this card for my granddaughter who just turned 1. What’s better than cupcakes no matter what age you are. I’m a sucker for them.
My daughter is a Martha Stewart in the making. She always surprises me with the things she makes and does with her husband and her two very young children. By the way, she’s an outstanding cook too. Anyways, we were asked that for Emma’s first birthday we enclose a letter to her which will be presented to Emma on her 16th birthday. Isn’t that cool? I don’t remember what I did write for Charlotte’s first birthday, but this time I wrote a note on world events and about myself. It may seem vane to write about oneself, but I think it’s important that grandchildren know about us. Grandparents are special in their lives.
A little hidden flap to add an extra “I love you.”
And this is the inside.

that is so sweet, love your coloring and pretty paper to go with your image. I love the idea your daughter had, and yes having something about you in it is a great idea, I would have loved to have something from my grandparents
Beth, this is such a sweet card.
Aww, I know you enjoyed making this so much. It’s adorable and now I want a cupcake! I hope you will get to visit them soon, even if a zoom call. Or hey, make them a video to surprise them with sometime. Hugs to you! XOX
