Mr. & Mrs. Wedding Day

Hi friends!  How is your week going?  Al and I are on vacation this week and the weather couldn’t be any better.  While he’s out boating with family, I’m in the air conditioning stamping all day.  I haven’t stamp for a full day in months.  I plan to catch up on my blog reading and comments this week as well.

Yesterday I went to my girlfriend’s house where we spent hours playing with the gelli plate and leaves.  I’m going to show those to you in another post.

My girlfriend really wanted blue flowers for her wedding, but the only thing available to her were flowers that could be dyed blue, and that would get pretty messy.  So, I came to the rescue with blue flowers on her wedding day.  LOL.

My friends got married over the weekend, and this is the card I gave them.  I love the fun of layering colours.  Tim Holtz’s colorize dies are my go to at the moment.  I heat embossed Mr. & Mrs. in gold, and did the same for the sentiment on the inside, and my “made by Beth” stamp on the back.

I hope you are having a nice week.

Thanks for stopping by.

I have missed some posts here! I love the nautical card with the beautiful background. The make up purse is wonderful! You did a great job. I love this card too! I can’t wait to see what you did with the leaves and gelli plate.

Hi Bethie! I had to come and properly comment on this piece of art! Girl, this is incredibly gorgeous! So glad you were able to help your friend have blue flowers for her wedding! I am still in California, but I’m thinking I have this die set…will have to look when I get home. Seriously, this is one of your prettiest cards ever – love it!

Oh Beth it turned out gorgeous, I love the shades of blue you used, very clever way to give her blue flowers for her day! Like the sentiment stamped in gold!

Oh, I like the Colorizers on white card, too, as well as black card. You layer them so well and the blue is beautiful. I know the stamping gives you enjoyment, as does the mixed media stuff like the gelli. And hey, a new video coming out, YAY! XOX
