The Color Wheel Company Sponsorship for Tutorial Tuesday

UPDATED TO READ “The Color Wheel Company

Did you know mice can eat bubblegum?  Anything is possible with house mouse stamps.  They are so darn cute!

Today’s tutorial shows you a quick overview of  how I selected the colors for my card.  Today’s sponsor is The Color Wheel Company who generously provided me with a color wheel for one lucky winner.

(photo used by permission from The Color Wheel Company)

As you can see from the photo above, there are many colour choices compared to an ordinary colour wheel.  This Web Wheel was created for beaders.  When this wheel on my mom’s beading table, I went crazy.  No longer did I see a scrapbooker/cardmarker color wheel with few choices, but I had a whole new world open up to me.  When I contacted The Color Wheel Company for sponsorship, they generously provided me with lots of blog candy for future posts.  This week I will randomly select a winner who will win The Web Wheel as shown above.  All you have to do is leave me a comment.  If you like, let me know if you use a colour wheel, or if you need further instructions in using one.

If you do not own The Color Wheel Company,  you can visit their site, or refer to one of the colour wheels you have on hand.

Now, on to the tutorial.

When selecting colours to use on a card, look at The Color Wheel Company  to help you out.

I wanted to see what colours would work best on my mats, as I knew I wanted to use the peachy orange as my card front.

Continue referring to The Color Wheel Company for colour choices.

Whether you already have a colour wheel on hand, or are looking for a colour wheel, The Color Wheel Company  is a #1 choice.

This looks like a color wheel that I can use, for sure. The one I have is a really old Stampin Up that matched the first group of ink pads & markers they sold! Oh, I’d love to have this one – need it for my older eye sight! Nelda in TN

Wow!!! That wheel has so many colours on it!! I have a wheel but rarely use it as it just has basic shades and very bright looking colours so is hard to use as all the in between colours are missing basically and you have to decide which way to go with a colour every time.

Great card as usual!! TFS

That does look like an awesome color wheel. I’ve been scrapbooking and making cards for 17 years, and I’ve never been able to understand how to use a color wheel. Of course, I haven’t put much effort in it. With some instruction, I’d love one of these. Thanks!

WOUW This must be meant for me, as I have been looking for a colorwheel for so long, since I saw your first tutorial on this last year or when it was? I have been asking spooo many places, but noone here seems to have these wheels, and just looks weird at me, when I ask. I have never used one, as I don´t have one, but I´m sure, it would be a great help, especially for those colors, we don´t like to use too much, because they never looks quite right, when we try, then this would be so handy to help match them with the right ones.
Youtr card is so gorgeous, but ofcause the House Mouse is just sooo darned cute, and with your coloringskills and this great wheel to help,m it miust be perfect ha ha ha. I love these cute little mice here, you did a wonderful job as always hun.

What a great colour wheel. I have 2 …and don’t use them because they have so few colours that they’re next to useless. The colours they do contain aren’t the ones I have in cardstock, inks, pens, or paints. The range on your new wheels should make them actually helpful.

What a fabulous color wheel! It puts my ho-hum color wheel to shame. As a beader and stamper this would be a great tool.

What an amazing tool! Thank you for showing it, as this is something that would be used on all my projects. It would open a whole new world of possibilities for me. I wouldn’t have to use the same old colours over and over again. Now off to get one…thanks again.

Wow! Those colors are fabulous and I would never match those together without the color wheel. I do not have a color wheel and have to pull out cardstock and hold up together to see what goes together. The above color wheel is amazing! What a great tool! Thanks for giving someone a chance to win! I am going to check out The Color Wheel Co.
