Rudolf Easel Card
Hello Dazzlers, Divas, and friends.
Today’s card is for the November Dueling Darlings group. Shelly played host for this month’s Dazzler’s card kit, and Carol played host for the Divas. What I terrific card kit from Shelly. Thank you Shelly for this adorable, and generous, kit!!
The theme this month is, “Red Nose.” I love dimensional cards, and thought that my kit would look nice on an Easel Card.
This is my last project with the Dueling Darlings because the group has become an American swap group only, and because I live in Canada I no longer am a member of the Team. It was a fun time with the Team, as each new package was a new adventure. Thanks to Kelly and Jeanette for running this group.
Kit Supplies included:

DP:Recollections- Buffalo Check
Doodlebug Designs-Wish list, Echo Park- red/green plaid

Dueling Darling’s November Duel
Hi friends! It’s the 15th of the month and it’s time for another duel between the Divas and Dazzlers. I’m a Dazzler, and this is the very fun kit that Terry S. sent us. Totally awesome duel because I like Halloween and I like gnomes. Terry S., thank you for such a generous kit (which came with a double-sided mask. One side fall leaves and the other Halloween).
I’m pretty happy with myself because I managed to add ribbon. I cannot tie bows all that well and I wanted to try out a new technique of making a bow that I found on Pinterest. Images were coloured with Prisma Colour coloured pencils.
Supplies:
Images: Photoplay Gnome for the Holidays Halloween; Designer Paper: Photoplay potions & spells, hocus pocus, batty, and Paperstudio polka dots; Gina Marie enamel dots, paper studio gems; Ribbon: The Ribbon Boutique
Thanks for popping by!

Dueling Darlings – A Roaring Good Time
It’s the 15th of the month and time for another duel between the Divas and Dazzlers. This month Heather is hosting the Diva’s and I am hosting the Dazzlers. It’s so much fun.
This month we have an extra special treat for you. Stamps, from CC Designs, has a stamp set for men of the twenties, and a stamp set of women of the twenties. Heather and I thought it would be fun if I placed a 20’s man in my kit and she place a 20’s lady in her kit.
The 1920s in the United States, called “roaring” because of the exuberant, freewheeling popular culture of the decade. The Roaring Twenties was a time when many people defied Prohibition, indulged in new styles of dancing and dressing, and rejected many traditional moral standards
Let’s see what the rest of the team did:

DDD – Dueling Darlings Turns 10
Yes, you heard right. Dueling darlings turns 10 this year. It’s been two years since I joined the dueling divas and dazzlers. To mix things up our hostesses for August, Kelly and Jeanette, and the founders of the group, have decided to randomly place players on the same, or different teams. Even Kelly, who sent out my package, didn’t know who was on what dueling team. I remained on the Dazzler side and have TICKET #509794 to be entered into a contest.
Some of us participated in on-line behind-the-scenes games and contests this month.
I was overwhelmed by this month’s kit. There was so much to use that I am going to make a second POP-UP BOX card. I coloured my cute image with Copic and pencil crayons and adding a little bit of bling onto the celebration cake. Doesn’t it just look yummy?
I had balloon dies and cut out four balloons with the paper from the kit, and embellished with ribbon.
Because I live in Canada and Kelly had to send through Customs (most of us know how slow customs is since COVID), I only had three days to create a card. Working full time, it gave me a small amount of creativity time. I want to add more dies to this box and will repost when I do.
I hope you like what I came up with. I encourage you to see what the other ladies did with their kits. Thanks for stopping by.

Sassy Pants
It’s the 15th of the month and it’s time for another edition of Dueling Darlings. In one corner we have the Dazzlers (me) and in the other we have the Divas. This month’s hosts are Tracie (Dazzlers) and Barb (Divas) and they chose “Humor” as their theme, because we all need a smile.
This is such a great theme, especially in these times. Ontario, Canada has opened up to Stage 3, but not dear ol Sarnia and a few other areas. We have to wait a tad bit longer. So that means playgrounds are still closed, and so are restaurants, gatherings of more than 10 people, etc.
I received two images in my kit, and I cut one of the images up so I could trace onto the DP and create cute clothes.
The inside of the card has the sentiment “Lil Miss Sassy Pants!”
SUPPLIES:

Designer Paper – Spring Fling by Sunny Studio, SU Tempting Turquoise
Sun Dies – Lil Inker Designs
Background Die – Taylored Expressions
Smily Faces, Recollections by Michaels
Hearts – Honey Bee Gems
Thanks for visiting.

Dueling Darlings – Roses
It’s the 15th of the month and the Dueling Darlings are at it again. This lovely challenge was hosted by Darlene and Judy, who picked “Roses” as this month’s theme. This delightful rubber stamp comes from a very old stamp by Uptown Rubber Stamps, “She Who Has Roses.” It was a lovely surprise to open my envelope to see what this month’s theme was going to be, and to see all the goodies in the kit. I’m so glad to be a participant!
Each team receives kits. The Dazzlers all received this kit, while the Diva’s received another kit. If you visit the teams, you will see what everyone did with their kit.
I’m not good with ribbon, and my bow is a little sad, but it’s there–LOL. You can’t tell by the photo, but the matts are gold from my own stash.
Thanks for stopping by. Don’t forget to take a peak at what the other’s did. It’s all wonderful!
SUPPLIES
Designer Papers: SEI’s “Field Notes” pack. Darlene loves it so much–she repurchased this paper pack for several years because she “adored” it. There was another designer paper with flowers on it that I really wanted to use, from the kit, but my card took an unexpected detour.
Ribbon: Michael’s.
Rinestones: Stampn’ Up

Dueling Darlings May 15th Kit – Bargain Hunters
Hello folks! It’s the 15th of the month, and time to work with our kits that were received from the hostess of the month. The Dazzlers (me) is hosted by Jeanette, and The Divas is hosted by Kelly. This’s month’s awesome theme is BARGAIN HUNTERS. The idea is to include items in the kits that are from clearance or second hand. I thought this is a very fun theme. There was so much in my kit, but I pared it down to only using a few items because I was dying to try out this style of card, and I felt that the image was perfect for this style.
The cardstock is from my stash, and the patterned paper is from the kit. Jeanette, who is my hostess this month, says she’s a collector of patterned paper. I love patterned paper too, but tend to create my own backgrounds. Pretty paper gives a card that extra punch of joy.
Whalaa. Finally made it to the image. Don’t forget to see what the rest of the Dazzlers and Divas have done with their kits. Thanks for stopping by!

Dueling Darlings April Kit – Bluebonnets
It’s the 15th of the month and that means the Dazzlers and Divas are dueling again. This month Debby (Dazzlers) and Suzy (Divas) are the hosts this month. It’s spring in Texas and that means the bluebonnets are blooming–the highways are lined in blue and soon all the other wild flowers will be blooming too. Good choice ladies, because nothing is blooming in southern Ontario yet.
Parts of my kit that I used includes the following:
Stamps: Deadbeat Designs
Ink: Color Box Pigment ink in Royal Blue
Designer Paper: Paper Studio
Ribbon: Offray-off white
Blue Gems: Parklane

Dueling Darlings – What Makes you Happy – Coffee
What makes you happy? This is the inspiration for the Dueling Darlings Duel this month. The two hosts: Terry L for the Dazzlers and Tami for the Divas, took the inspiration from the fact that March 10th is the International Day of Happiness. They brainstormed about what makes people happy. The answer was COFFEE.
Each “team” receives the same kit from their host and the duel is to see what everyone from the two teams come up with, using their kit.
Because I love coffee, I thoroughly enjoyed this challenge.
What makes me happy: Uninterrupted time in my studio

Dueling Darlings – Let Me Call you Sweetheart
Hello folks! I hope you had a lovely Valentine’s Day. My sweet husband received this card that I made from the Dueling Darlings kit that I received from Shelly, who hosted this month’s kit for the Dazzlers. Carol hosted for the Divas. Shelly and Carol called this month’s challenge “Let Me Call you Sweetheart.”
The Dazzlers and the Divas are each given a kit from the host of the month, and we are to post our cards to our blogs on the 15th of the month and travel to each other’s blogs to see what each other has done with their kit. Make sense?
Can you tell I had fun with my kit? There was so much goodness all over my desk, I decided to create a card that would use most of what I received.
The only thing I used, that wasn’t in the kit, was Bazzil’s red cardstock used on my layered background.
Thank you, Shelly, for hosting an awesome challenge.
